Aging Out Program
Trunks filled with pillows (new only), linens, towels, comforter, dishes, kitchen items, small appliances, a small microwave, etc. Donations of new and very gently used items are accepted for this program.
New bears are given out at MARE’s annual adoption festival every September.
Birthday in a Bag Parties
are planned each month for foster children. The birthday boy/girl is allowed to invite 10 friends to a special party complete with cake and presents. Donations needed for this program include: new presents for these foster children, cake mixes, frosting, plates, napkins, plastic cups/ware, candles, tablecloths, party favors, balloons, and streamers
Big Family has the privilege of escorting different foster children and foster families to professional sports games and cultural activities through the year thanks to the generosity of ticket donation from the Tigers, Lions, and Pistons.
